Posthumanist ideals have existed since, so far as recorded history shows, the early 20th century. During this century many prophets granted the population glimpses of the future in their writings but were overlooked and dismissed. Then came The Omega. All of human history became meaningless, as The Omega brought a false taste of the technological singularity upon the world. In the aftermath of their millennia of rule, a new posthuman race had been forged in the fires of their empire, the Solitus. The Solitus went on to create more breeds, stronger, faster, more intelligent, all sharing in the nanotechnological enhancement The Omega had brought upon humanity. The concept of bringing the singularity upon the masses is therefore not a new one, rather a philosophical take upon the idea of evolution. As more upon Rubi-Ka came to realise this, they began to band together to take advantage of the unique opportunities offered upon the planet for pushing humanity beyond its limits, towards the ultimate destiny of mankind.
